To keep dogs safe in happy homes, find forever homes when necessary, and help dog owners facing financial hardship.
Our mission is to keep dogs safe, loved, and thriving in happy homes. When staying in their current home is no longer possible, we help them find caring forever families. We also support dog owners facing financial hardship so they can continue providing the care their dogs need.
Through a nationwide, community-based network of dog lovers, advocates, and resources, we connect people, share knowledge, and respond during times of crisis. We provide peer-to-peer support, referrals, emergency assistance, and critical funding - all powered by compassion, collaboration, and lots of love.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, our family endured one of the most painful experiences of our lives: saying goodbye to our beloved dog, Ella.
Ella was only three years old when she was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD). When her condition worsened, we faced the heartbreaking decision to end her suffering. Because of pandemic restrictions, our veterinarian told us we could not enter the clinic. But we refused to let Ella face her final moments alone. Our vet met us outside, and beneath a tree, we held Ella as she took her last breath. In those final moments, she looked at me with an unforgettable expression - an endearing blend of confusion and reassurance, as if she were telling us that everyone was going to be okay. People who have never shared their lives with a dog may see someone grieving a pet and think it is an overreaction. After all, they might say, "It's just a dog." But those who have loved a dog know the truth: A beloved pet is never "just a dog." They are family, companions, protectors, and a constant source of unconditional love. The only thing more painful than deciding to euthanize a beloved pet is being forced to make that decision because it is the only affordable option. No family should have to say goodbye simply because they cannot afford another path.
Ella's story became our reason to act. In her memory, we are committed to helping pet owners have more choices and giving vulnerable animals the care, dignity, and hope they deserve.
Please join us. Sponsor a dog. Rescue a dog. Volunteer your time. Advocate for those without a voice. Together, we can help more families choose hope.
